Artist Guest of Honor

Biographical Information:

Kyle Miller has been drawing cartoons "as long as I can remember."

His journey through the world of game development began in the early 80's
as a free-lance artist for Steve Jackson Games' Toon, the Cartoon
Roleplaying Game. Kyle soon joined the staff at Steve Jackson Games,
providing art for several more Toon products as well as many products in
the Car Wars (he created many of the wacky gadgets for Uncle Albert),
Gurps and Ogre series of games. Kyle eventually wound up as an art
director at Dynamix (part of the Sierra family) in the early 90's. There
he added his deft touch to Aces of the Deep, Betrayal at Krondor, and
Space Quest 5. Kyle moved from Art to Game Design when he made the
proposal for 3D Ultra Pinball: Outpost Odyssey. The game was a huge
success and led to four more pinball games, three minigolf games, two
radio car games and even a train game, all under the 3D Ultra label.
Kyle recently moved to Chicago to work at High Voltage Software where he
finished work on the recently released Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
game and the soon to be released Family Guy game. In the span of his
career, Kyle has worked on a variety of games, too many to count by his
recollection. In addition to his work as a game designer, Kyle also does
the illustration duties on the syndicated comic, Working Daze
<http://www.comics.com/comics/workingdaze/>  for United Media's
comics.com as well as his own weekly comic, Gamecreature at
www.gamecreature.com <http://www.gamecreature.com/> .
